What are you doing creatively today?

This morning I sat in bed with the scrambled egss my husband made me and looked out the window to the corpulent wood pigeon flew in for his breakfast of willow leaves.

I picked up my laptop and spent all morning until around 11am manipulating my garden photo's so that I can load them onto this blog. I just have to work out how to do this????????

I then went out to my studio and helped my husband clean it up. I hadn't been able to look at it since the Lombardy poplar  crashed and broke the roof in half three weeks ago.  As a committed greenie I could make a recycled art piece out of the mangled mess, but I have decided to clear some clutter. That way something new and surprising will enter my world. I can start to feel it happening already, some long awaited event or interaction that will transform my writing to a new ( literary)  level.

I bought some seed potatoes and bean and pea seeds for a new vege garden that is going in at the back of my studio.

So what are you doing creatively today? If it's too much to ask you to do something every day, what about once or twice a week?

If you are feeling a bit jaded with your world,  the answer could be to take a walk into a park by a lake or near the sea and feed the birds. Birds often have the answer....you just have to listen.

I just learnt how to use PhotoStudio editing software a few days ago so that I could put effects on my photos and add text to make haiga. I couldn't believe how easy it was! It's definitely opened up a whole new creative world for me :)

It does open a whole new world, a photo is not just a photo any longer.

I use Photoshop which isn't all that easy to use but I go to classes once a month so it's becoming easier.

Cheers Janet
