Autumn Forest Walk Impressions and tanka haiku

autumn walk
fold after fold
of origami leaves

dappled  light
seeds dangle
ticking clocks
wondering how much
time we have left

breathing a prayer
 autumn leaves
bow to the wind

walking together
filling my vision
leaves leaves leaves
how many more times
will we see this season

afternoon breeze
damp leaf aroma
meets the dogs nose
people and precious ones
greet us on the path

thunder rumbles
high wind warning
gossiping leaves

forest wedding
flying sprays of
decaying confetti
we renew or vows
uncertain for how long

  mottled leaves
floating in puddles
smell of near by rain

  walking hand in hand
bringing us closer to the
smell of tomato soup
home made on the stove
waiting to be loved

ginko leaves
melting the earth
nourishing soup

hot pokers sparkling
near mudpools
samosas for two
while dipping toes
in park footbaths

full moon
autumn almost over
blowing noses

half way through Autumn
leaf blowers whine
why bother they'll
be back tomorrow
covering the footpath

forest floor
dripping with sound of
melting leaves

avoiding  puddles
of floating debri
he takes my hand
and walks with me
into the sulphur mist

 autumn forest walk
soft path littered with
melting pinecones

autumnal shades
clothe the
forest cat walk
 imagining being
a model collecting roses
