How to make poetry with photographs....a beginners guide....

                                                                       (haiku)

If  want to do this,  grab a bunch of your favourite photos and print them out.
Also a pad with paper and a pen.
Pick up one photo at a time.
Play some peaceful music and keeep some water handy so you can drink to keep your mind alert and fresh
Close your eyes.
Sit in silence for a minute or two thinking calm peaceful thoughts.
Open your eyes
Take the photos one at a time and look at them.
What messages come into your mind?
What tastes?
What smells? What visions? What noises? What memories?
What intiitive flashes come to you
Quickly grab your  piece of paper and a pen  start writing the any words and thoughts down
Pick put some words and phrases that you like
Keep playimg with the words until they feel right to you
Write them in three lines
Before you know it you will have written your very first haiku
Too bad if it doesnt make any sense to anyone but you.

Happy creating...

Vision Board Lesson two. Forgiveness. Letting go of the past and taking responsibility.

A vital part of living a happy, abundant and creative  life is learning to let go of the past  and to live  in  the present moment,  while also  planning for an amazing  future through the aid of  making vision boards  then viewing them daily.
A few thoughts for you to consider
When I take responsibility for myself I can begin the journey to a new and abundant life full of art making and creativity.

By changing myself  I can influence others for the better.
In order to do this,  I  must first forgive myself and others for past mistakes.
When  I  learn from my mistakes I create a better future.

"Forgiveness is a secret that is hidden in plain sight. It costs nothing and is worth millions. It is available to everyone and used by few."
-Abraham Lincoln

Exercise:
In order to take responsibility for my  life,  I must first take a personal inventory of where  I am right now : It is time to FORGIVE myself

If you agree with this next lesson do the following after first doing a vision board...refer to past blog posts on how to do this.

List below the things in your past you must forgive yourself for so you can focus on creating your future! Use separate sheet of paper if necessary.

I accept responsibility for my past and I will concentrate on my future.

PS.  I am interested in hearing peoples feedback from making vision boards.
I want to hear if it's working for you.
I would like to write and publish a photographic book about it.

Embrace Your Journey, the path is beautiful.....

The vision boards I have hanging on my office wall  are working. ...

Proof: I just won a prize from an artist overseas art site is  called http://dryadart.wordpress.com/.

Check out her blog it's really inspiring.

I will be receiving some art materials from her, all the way from America.

This generosity of another artist made me ponder about the sorts of things I have surplus to requirements that I can afford to give away.
I have decided that I am going through my art magazines (which I tend to hoard) and I am going to give one away to each of my pupils.
Maybe some image in the magazine will spark something extra creative in them.

My husband Graham has just bought a lotto ticket for the first time in ages, so I am going around the house pretending I am a millionaire.

I received some money for my fiftieth birthday from my parents, that will go towards the $1300 extra wide angle lens I need for my camera.

I am so enjoying my new, tidy , relatively decluttered studio.
I am being grateful for everything, even the rain and the cold wind.

I am determined not to moan about  cold Rotorua winters agian.

I am grateful for a peacful  nights sleep and pleasant dreams.

MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY, SPRITUALLY, EMOTIONALLY, AND FINANCIALLY improving my life.

I am doing this free e-course.
Here is the essence of it.
If you want to do it too,  follow along for seven days...

How to achieve goals you desire by changing your throughts decisions and actions.
How to apply these simple principles in your everyday life to change your results forever.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE RESULTS YOU ARE GETTING, THE TIME TO CHANGE IS NOW!

The definition of Insanity is - Doing the same thing and expecting different results.

Thoughts + Decisions + Actions = RESULTS

So if you are not getting the results that you desire, you must go back to the simple formula and change your thoughts.
By following this formula, you can change and achieve the results and goals that you are looking for in your life, work, and your relationships.
In order for this to happen you must take the steps necessary.

1. Create positive thoughts that you believe will get the results you are

looking for.

2. Make immediate decisions on those thoughts.

3. Take immediate action to achieve the results you desire.

"Successful people make their decisions quickly and change their minds slowly,
Unsuccessful people make their decisions slowly and change their mind quickly"
-Andy Andrews

Exercise:
In order to have the things in your life you desire, you must be willing to change your thoughts.
Before you can have anything new in your life you must be GRATEFUL for the things that you have today.

Write 10 things that you are grateful for:
You can be truly grateful about anything- your family, the weather, food, love, a flower, or even a painting - you get the idea be personal with your answers

Hypnotherapy....healthy mind, body and soul for vibrant health and creativity. Living in the light...

My  new doctor had been concerned about my high blood pressure, so I have been prescribed a bucket load of pills.
My new doctor is lovely because she believes that good health is about mind, body and spirit.

I decided to help everything along by buying a hypnotherapy cd  by Grant Boddington especially for a healthy heart.

http://www.hypnosisnewzealand.co.nz/hypnotherapytraining.html

For two weeks now I have been  increasing  my walking from once to twice a day.
I have been  meditating with the aid of a meditating cd,  twice daily .
I have  put all my vision boards about positivity and vibrant health in my office where I can see them everyday.
I have been guiding my friends through vision board exercises and seeing what  positivity their presence in my life brings.

The blood pressure has gone down from 160 over 100 to 140 over 90 in two weeks.

My goal blood pressure number is 120 over 80.
So guess what my next vision board is going to be about?

I donated some money to the Heart Foundation today when  I was  in this amazing fruit and vege place, stocking up on good fresh food.
This is encouraging the the law of reciprocity to operate or entering into a "give to get"  slip stream of abundance.

After my doctors appointment  I went on auto pilot to my favourite cafe because I  was hungry.
I was going to have a  little coffee and cake to celebrate my new blood pressure reading ( stinking thinking) .

But because of this hypnotherapy cd I  stood infront of the gleaming cake trays and  just couldn't stomach the thought of it and I turned around and left.

It's the same when I go to the supermarket.
Unhealthy foods just don't call out to me anymore.
Those cream buns just droop when I walk passed.

I am going to buy a self esteem and confidence  hypnotherapy cd off  Grant Boddington.
I'm even thinking of making my own hypnotherpay cd's from his templates.

When all of these self improvements work,  I'm going to be unstoppable and I'm not going to be put off by jealousy or negativity of others.
Their vibes will just evaporate.

My husband is looking forward to me being hypnotised into a tidy freak in the computer file management arena.
Anything's possible afterall....

How to make a vison board...

Vision Board Project.
I am on a mission to show friends my newly revamped studio.
So I am inviting  them one at a time to come to my studio to make a vision board with me

I am interested to see how quickly they are able to manifest their dreams and goals through the use of vision boards.

Vision boards are powerful and they have worked for me on many occasions.
I have lots of them but I noticed that while my studio was getting fixed I had put them all away, out of sight.

They are no good sitting in a bottom draw they need to be in front of you so that you can view them  every day.

That way the magic works faster.

Follow these instructions and make your own..let the miracles start to shine.

 Materials needed.

An A3, A2 or  to A1 piece of cardboard

Stack of old magazines
Glue
Scissors
Pen
Handwritten or typed words
Crayons
Paint
Embellishments and stickers

Before you start
Sit  down quietly before you start, close your eyes and  ask yourself what it is that you want for your vision board. Put on  some soft music and relax.
Images or words will probably come to mind, be aware of them.

The Six Steps of Creating a Vision Board:

1. Place a picture of yourself  or something sacred that represents you in the middle of the board.
2.  Go through your old magazines and tear the images and words from them that you like.
Put them in a pile.
3. Go through the images and put your your favorites on the board.
Discard images that don't feel right.
Use you intuition to guide you as to where each image and word needs to be placed.
4.Glue everything onto the board and add writing, crayon embelishments and stickers or paint if you wish.
5. Hang your vision board in a place where you will see it often.
Mine are in my office and in the toilet.
6. Have faith and don't stess about the outcome, if its meant to be it will be.

Good luck.

Creative Visualisation Quotes
To visualise is to see what is not there, what is not real -- a dream . To visualize is, in fact, to make visual lies . Visual lies, however, have a way of coming true."
Peter McWilliams

"Ordinary people believe only in the possible. Extraordinary people visualize not what is possible or probable, but rather what is impossible. And by visualizing the impossible, they begin to see it as possible."
