As you probably can imagine wrenching out buttercup and dock plants is hard on the back.
We usually go here at least twice a month and really like the private pools best because they are peaceful and secluded. It's like being in your own personal rock pool. The stone floor is heated in the changing area and they massage your feet. .
There is also a mosaic and rock re creation of a volcano that I like, near the entrance to the private pools.
When I have been to the same place over one hundred times before it is easy for me to yearn for travel to exotic countries to attain the perfect shot and I can sometimes overlook perfect photogenic experiences that surround me.
The Polynesian Spa is one of the top 10 spas in the world. The staff are always pleasant, welcoming and helpful and the pools are always clean and well maintained.
The following taken at the Polynesian spa contain photos for expanding the imagination. You wouldn't see them in a tourist brochure.
They represent the area of photography that I am interested in exploring... the unseen..the imaginary
It's a matter of training the eye to see the wonder so you can make up stories that contain strands of reality woven into a ketes of fantasy

We are traditionally rather proud of ourselves for having slipped creative work in there between the domestic chores and obligations. I'm not sure we deserve such big A-pluses for that.
