smoothie near
mahoe berry-hogging,
testy tui.
Jasper, chair snoozer
with biscuit-bulging tum.
Morning Tea-
Coffee beside the pond,
Dragonfly sips from
Taro cup.
Goldfish cluster round
Water cooler.
Jasper lap napping
In the sun.
Lunch
Hedgehog slice
with jasmine tea,
Goldfinch gorging
Sunflower seeds-
Discarding more
than choosing.
Jasper spies from
wheelbarrow hide,
Tail wagging at the waste

Afternoon Tea
Vege juice with fejoia scones.
Midge clouds rise
With leaf mold footsteps
Teeming with Fantail trio
Squeaking to
Jasper to “keep on walking”
Dinner Time
Silver beet filo pie.
Jasper on top of
Compost bin-
Rat Patrolling.
Strawberry crush
Abuliton cocktail party for
Bellbirds, chiming
‘down tools now”
Supper time
Morporking hour.
Mothy street light circling.
Jasper late home for
Veal and biscat snack.
Spaghetti rat tail
Mouth dangling.
Perhaps cats’
keen on
